A Hotell for everyone
St Svithun Hotell is situated centrally in Stavanger, next door to Stavanger University Hospital (SUS). The hotell is available to everyone and has been operational since 2006, employs over 35 people and is Kronengruppens largest hotell.
What makes us a different hotell in Stavanger, is that we look at service and caring as equally important aspects. Not just the words themselves but the feeling we provide our guests with – the feeling of being looked after and being welcome.
St Svithun – The Guardian Saint of Stavanger
Stavangers very own guardian saint lived in the 8th century. He was well known for his humbleness, kindness & charitable heart towards the ones who need it the most. St Svithun is traditionally a saint one turns too in order to prevent draught. It is often said that the way the weather was on the 15th of july, his day of celebration, thats how the weather would remain for the next 40 days.
WE WANT TO MAKE YOUR DAY A LITTLE BRIGHTER
With its typical norwegian southwest defined weather Stavanger is rarely exposed to draught. In that way we can safely say that our saint is watching over his city with great care. Occasional showers are present, however, when the clouds fade away and the light washes in over our shores it is easy to be breathtaken by the beauty of our landscape. We have taken this light into our hearts here at St Svithun Hotell
Showers can occasionally wash over us in real life as well. Light for us represents happiness, safety and hope. These are qualitys that we want to represent as a Hotell. We want to make the days a little brighter for our guests.
